OWL season is here

What does OWL season mean?  

Leaves are starting to grow, the birds start to sing, and it's baby season for many animals. Around Metro Vancouver, Spring is the time for new life.  

For OWLs, mating season starts before everything comes to life.  That way when their young are born, they will have plenty of food to support them. 

You would be surprised at how vocal Owls will be during this time of the year.  I encourage to go online and prepare yourself to what different species of Owls sound like.  It will help you identify them as you are walking at your local park. 

By April and May, parents will be busy feeding their young all day.  Don't be surprised to see them on the hunt for food.
